For centuries, Jinjiang people are always famous for their enterprising ambition and eagerness to win. Our forefathers have come so far through thick and thin: they headed southwards, sailed across oceans and started business from scratch in foreign lands, and now there are five million fellow people of Jinjiang origin all over the world. Hardworking Jinjiang people never stop to carve out new careers, so they made enormous contributions to local prosperity in different fields across the world. Their remarkable accomplishments have put them in a leading role in associations, business, academic research and culture, in other words, they have become “Jinjiang Power” exerting global influence. We are so proud of you for those brilliant successes you made.

Thanks to rapid socioeconomic development, recent years has seen tremendous changes in Jinjiang. It ranks top 5 on a national scale and top 8 on a provincial scale in terms of county-level basic economic competitiveness. In 2015, Jinjiang's GDP reached RMB162 billion and its fiscal revenue crossed RMB20 billion, giving rise to the well-known "Jinjiang Experience" and "Jinjiang Mode". Presently, a sweeping reform is going on in Jinjiang on the basis of national "One Belt One Road" strategy, the planning of building "the Core Zone of the Maritime Silk Road in the 21st Century" and the goal of "Pursuing New Heights of the Maritime Silk Road". Talents play a crucial role in accelerating this great cause. In this crucial stage of innovation and transformation, Jinjiang continues to speed up transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. Aiming to forster new economy, new formats and new models, Jinjiang also focuses efforts on emerging industries like integrated circuit, carmaking, and sports industry. So talents are in great demand in each sector of Jinjiang. In light of the objective of "building an international innovation-based quality city", CPC Jinjiang municipal committee and municipal government have put forth the strategy of “Reinvigorating the city through talents”, adopted more open, flexible and effective talent introduction policies and implemented "Four Talent Programs" in a bid to make Jinjiang the very city with best talent ecosystem and provide good business-friendly environment and premier services for outstanding talents coming back to Jinjiang.
